About Prov4J

Prov4J is a general-purpose open source Provenance Framework suitable for a large set of provenance uses. Prov4J covers both the Web of Documents and the Web of Data  and can be deployed on the open Web and on enterprise environments.Current features include: 

  • Consumption and publishing of provenance information.
  • Creation of provenance-aware applications.
  • A vocabulary for mapping Provenance on the Web.

W3P

W3P is a provenance vocabulary designed to cover the growing need of expressing provenance information on the Web. W3P is designed to be a simple and intuitive vocabulary. W3P is released under the  Creative Commons license.
